  • Can you just repair my rug without cleaning it?
    No, we will not work on rugs that have not beencleaned first. The nature of repair work is such that the professional working on your rug will handle the piece very closely. So, to honor the health of the repair person, we will only handle clean rugs in the repair room.
  • How much do you charge for to repair area rugs?
    There are a lot of factors to consider when repairing an area rug such as the overall condition and age of the rug, damage to the rug and the fiber type used. For that reason, all repairs are quoted during a consultative call or visit. Additionally, you can upload a photo of the damaged area of your rug to help us better understand what the issue is and the repair needed.
  • What types of rugs do you repair?
    All of our repairs are done by hand so typically, we only repair hand-woven rugs. However, sometimes we make exceptions and do minor repairs on machine-made rugs. Please call us at (267) 918-2085 to discuss your repair needs.
  • How long does a repair take?
    Depending on what type of repair we are doing to your rug, it may take up to two weeks to complete not including the time your rug will need to be cleaned.
  • I have a bleach spot on my carpet, do you repair color on wall to wall as well as area rugs?
    No, we only repair area rugs in our shop. You can upload a picture of your color loss spot on our website and we will contact you with a quote.
  • Is the pad that you sell used on hard surfaces as well as carpet?
    Yes, we sell pads for both hard surfaces as well as carpets. The pad has a rubber backing with horsehair fiber on top. It protects and stabilizes the rug and prevents slippage when the rug is on a hard or carpeted surface. Padding also provides a degree of sound absorption.
  • Do you guarantee stain removal?
    If a stain has not affected the fibers permanently, we have a much higher chance of removing it. Please call us at (267) 918-2085 as soon as you notice the stain since taking care of it as early as possible increases our chance of success.
  • Can I drop off my area rug to your location?
    Yes. Please call our office at (267) 918-2085 in advance to arrange for a representative be available to assist you.
  • Is my rug worth cleaning?
    That is a personal decision depending on your emotional attachment, if any, to the rug and the replacement value of the rug. Many people design a whole room around their Oriental rug, and replacing it could require refurnishing the entire room. It may be cheaper to clean the rug. We will be happy to give you a professional estimate for cleaning to help you make an informed decision.
  • What types of area rugs do you clean?
    We specialize in Oriental rug cleaning, Persian rug cleaning, and cleaning of other hand-woven rugs. We hand wash all rugs even machine-made area rugs. The condition and other underlying factors involved with the rug will determine what procedures and products we use.
  • Will you move my furniture off of my area rug and put it back when you return the rug?
    We strongly encourage you to move furniture off of your rugs before we arrive. We will gladly move most small pieces of furniture such as end tables, coffee tables, or dining chairs; however, some particularly heavy pieces, such as pool tables, conference and dining tables, need to be moved prior to our arrival. We also request you remove all small breakable items from the tops of all furniture that will need to be moved. We reset the same pieces of furniture that we removed during pick up. We will reset twice. Additional time resetting and moving furniture will be billed at $50 every 15 minutes.
  • Do you have insurance for my area rugs when they are picked up and stored in your facility?
    Yes, our insurance covers your property when it is entrusted to us for transport, service, and storage.
  • How much do you charge?
    We charge by the square foot for area rug washing. The price per square foot depends on what type of rug you have. Wash prices are generally $6.00 per square foot. Delicate fibers such as silk, bamboo silk, viscose, or mixed fibers may be additional. Please call us for a free consultation regarding your rug (267) 918-2085. We require a 50% deposit when you drop off your rug or when we pick it up. You can determine the square footage of your rug by measuring its length and its width, then multiplying those two numbers . e.g. and 8 x 10 rug would be 80 sf.
  • How often should I clean my area rug?
    The time frame for cleaning a rug depends on how much traffic it gets. We recommend professional rug cleaning be performed every 1-3 years. If there are pets, smokers, or people with respiratory illnesses in your home, area rug cleaning should be performed more often.
  • I am moving. Can you deliver my area rug to a new address?
    Yes. We can deliver to your new address as long as it is in our service area. When you deliver my area rug, will you put my furniture back in its proper place? Generally, we will deliver the rugs rolled up and place them in a room of your choice. Otherwise, we will return any pieces that we initially moved to pick up the rug. We will place furniture to your specification one time. If additional adjustments are needed, we could include that as a service at an additional cost.
  • Do you pick up and deliver?
    Yes, we do offer a pick up and delivery service for a fee which is determined by the location of pick up/delivery. You can, however drop off and pick up your rug and save on that charge. We have a video to show you how to fold a large rug, making it easier to handle and transport.
  • Do you guarantee pet urine and odor removal?
    We do not guarantee anything in terms of pet odor or pstain removal. However, as you can see from our reviews and website before and after photos, we have a high success rate for eliminating both.
  • Can you store my area rug after it's cleaned?
    Yes, we can store your rug for up to 30 days from the date we call you to deliver without a charge. After 30 days, there is a $30 charge for storage $2.10 per square foot for moth treatment and to wrap ifor storage. An additional $1.00 per day will be charged for each additional day over 30days. Oversized rugs (over 108sf will be charged double)
  • What types of payment do you accept?
    We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards, and Venmo.
  • How do I determine when it is time to clean my area rug?
    To determine if it's time to clean your rug, try these simple tests: Touch Test-Rub your palm on the rug for a few seconds. If your hand becomes dirty, it is time for cleaning. Smell test. If you detect a foul odor, it is time to have it cleaned. Shake Test- Lift rug corner and vigorously shake it up and down once or twice. If you see a dust cloud forming, it is definitely time for a cleaning. Sight Test-With the rug facing up, fold a corner of the rug back, away from the pile, to expose the base of the fibers. Have the rug professionally cleaned if there is dirt deep within the pile.
  • Can you wrap my area rug for storage?
    Yes, for a nominal fee, we can wrap your rug for short-term or long-term storage. Please let us know how long you plan to store your rugs and in what environment you will be storing them. We will wrap accordingly.
  • How long will you have my rug?
    During our busy times, it may take up to three or four weeks, depending on the rug type, condition received for processing, and the particular cleaning treatment or repairs being done on your rug. Please plan well in advance to ensure a clean rug back at home when desired for that special occasion. If your rug is also being repaired, additional time will be needed. You will be given an estimate during your rug consultation.
  • Do I need to be home when you pick up my patio cushions?
    Yes, even though these assets may be outdoors, we require someone to be present so that we are certain to collect the proper pieces and remit payment. We take payment in full for cushions cleaning and storage up front.
  • Do I need to be home when you drop off my patio cushions?
    No, you do not need to present when we drop off the cleaned patio furniture cushions. We will call to let you know when they will be delivered; we will return them to the same location we picked them up or at your direction. They will be wrapped in plastic so they will not be affected by rain or any other outside element.
  • Do you guarantee mildew stains will be removed on patio cushions and umbrellas?
    We do not guarantee stain removal. However, as you can see from our reviews and website before and after photos, we have a high success rate for removing mildew stains and mold on outdoor cushions and umbrellas.
  • Can you pick up and deliver cushions and umbrellas outside of your one day in Fall and one day in Spring?
    No, our outdoor cushion cleaning and storage program is designed for a one-day pick-up in the Fall of all soiled furniture cushions and umbrellas and a one-day delivery back to you in the Spring. We do accept drop-offs during the Fall and Winter. Please call if you'd like to drop off your cushions during the Fall/Winter outside of our schedule. You will also be responsible for picking up your cushions by the end of April.
  • How much do you charge for patio cushion cleaning?
    Please see our pricing page for all improtant information regarding our patio cushion program.
  • Why don't you give an exact date for outdoor cushion pick-up and delivery on your website?
    Every year is different in terms of weather. If our service area in Bucks County is experiencing nice Fall weather, we like to give people the opportunity to continue to enjoy using their patio furniture. If the weather is less conducive to that, we will plan the pick-up date earlier in the Fall. The same philosophy holds for Spring.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or gif in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Enter the app’s Settings 2. Click on the “Manage FAQs” button 3. Select the question you would like to add media to 4. When editing your answer click on the camera, video, or GIF icon 5. Add media from your library.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Click “Manage FAQs” button 2. From your site’s dashboard you can add, edit and manage all your questions and answers 3. Each question and answer should be added to a category 4. Save and publish.
  • How do I edit or remove the “FAQ” title?
    You can edit the title from the Settings tab in the app. If you don’t want to display the title, simply disable the Title under “Info to Display”.
